Carlin is a handsome 4 year old Border Collie/Flatcoat mix who is as smart as they come. He is a good boy and does not need to be in the crate at his foster mom’s home. He has long soft hair and beautiful brown eyes. Carlin is somewhat male dominant, so he would do well in a home with a female dog or a submissive male. He is a high energy boy, so a fully fenced year is required with his adoption. He could use some training to learn how to properly walk on a leash, but he catches on quickly. He would do great around kids and would be an awesome agility dog. Carlin is neutered, up to date on shots and chipped. He just completed his heartworm treatment and is ready for his forever home.  His adoption fee is $250.00. Contact us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com to find out more about Carlin!

About Project Hope Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We focus primarily on rescuing senior and special needs dogs in kill facilities. We are located on 30 acres of land in rural southern Michigan. We are a care-for-life facility, so any dog that does not or that we deem cannot be adopted will live with us for the rest of his/her life. Because we rescue the dogs that are not in high demand, it normally takes our dogs longer to find that perfect family. We believe that it takes a special family to adopt our special dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

We require that the interested adopter come to meet the dog and then fill out an adoption application. We will review the application and then pass on to the dog's foster family (if applicable). We then contact the potential adopter's vet and we will also do a home visit. If all goes well, the adopter signs our adoption contract stating that, among other things, the dog will receive regular vet care and must be returned to us if things do not work out.
