Buddy-REDUCED FEE's Story...

Buddy is a 1 year old lab mix. This poor pup has had the world's most awful life and needs - and deserves!- a loving, forever home.
Buddy was used as a bait dog in dog fighting (a puppy thrown into the ring to get the fighting dogs a taste for blood so they will be more vicious) and is more scarred than any creature I have ever seen. Some of these wounds are still healing physically. He will need a lot of patience and love to heal emotionally. He was rescued from his horrible past... please help pass this along so he can have a happily ever after.
He is sweet when on leash with you, but very nervous and skittish. He is not for a new dog owner. The perfect home would be patient and calm- if kids- they should be older- and a fenced in yard, as he is a runner at this point. He can be aggressive with submissive dogs but has seemed fine otherwise. He is much more comfortable outside so he is learning to be ok in the house. You have to have a huge heart and lots of patience to help Buddy trust again. Please contact Sandy at (414) 429-1969 if you or anyone you know would like to make a difference in a very special dog's life.ADOPTION FEE IS NOW $150. He is neutered and up to date on shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy-REDUCED FEE, a Union Grove Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Union Grove, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Union Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
