I'm Duke and I'm an 11-month old Shepherd/Boxer mix who has been surrendered to the shelter because my owner could no longer care for me. I'm a little scared of new things, so it may take a little while for me to adjust to my new home with you. Once we warm up to each other, I like to play fetch and tug-o-war. I love to chew on rawhide and yummy bones. I usually sleep on the kid's bed, but if you don't have any kids, I can find another place to snuggle in and make myself at home. I know some of my commands, like stay, come and down. We can work on some more--it's fun to practice! Can't wait to meet you. Oh, I can jump fences, so I will need to be a lead when outside. Mostly, I've been and inside dog, but would love to be outside with you!!!
