Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Everyone loves Lulu. She's an Australian Kelpie mix that arrived from another shelter so her history is unknown. Lulu has been the perfect lady since her arrival. She's well behaved and is good on a leash. If you don't know anything about Kelpies here's some info..."Kelpies have great personalities, especially when they have “tasks” to accomplish or animals to herd. When the mood strikes, they may even herd people around—in a friendly way, of course. If you’re a jogger or long-distance runner, you’re in luck: Australian Kelpies have incredible stamina." They will need lots of exercise and are not good apartment dogs. A fenced in yard would be a plus. If you're looking for a running or walking buddy, Lulu's your girl!
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
