Mikey's Story...
Mikey is a 2 year old Pom. He weighs 6 1/4 pounds. We received him as a rescue request from Hillsborough county. This poor little guy had a rough start in life. He hasn't been properly cared for living on the streets. His fur is a little patchy right now but with some proper nutrition and care it will fill in quick enough. If you would like to meet this pup please go to RescueADog.org website and under the forms tab fill out the adoption application and email it to info@RescueAdog.org we will call you to arrange a time . Thank you for looking!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikey, a Palm Harbor Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
