Patches's Story...
Patches is a 9 year old Cocker Spaniel. She is as sweet as can be. She is the ultimate velcro dog - very attentive, loves getting kisses and loves giving kisses. Patches was used as a breeder that was mainly kept in a cage. It takes her a little while to adjust to her surroundings. It is believed that she can mostly just see shadows. Patches currently lives with 2 adults, 2 children (ages 12 and almost 6) and 3 dogs. She would do fine in a house with or without other animals. She is more of a people person. If she doesn't know where anyone is, she will run around until she finds someone. We are currently working on pottytraining. She does know when it's time to eat and a time to get cookies. She is an amazing older dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Union Grove Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Union Grove, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Union Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
