Max's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Max's Story...
Max is a very well mannered boxer mix who came to us from a shelter in rural NC where he was picked up as a stray. Max has impeccable manners and is great for everything you do to him. He was perfect at his vet visit. He loves kids, is friendly and respectful with dogs, and didn't seem interested in the cats he's met. Max is about 3 years old and about 60 lbs. Max is currently being treated for heartworms. We expect him to be ready for adoption in early October.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Richmond Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
