Here's Oscar, a 2-year-old, 60-pound shepherd mix who, as his pictures attest, is a playful, loving, and handsome young neutered boy who is hoping this is finally his chance to find a home of his own. While we don't know how, exactly, Oscar got into rescue, we couldn't be happier to have him. (We suspect he is an owner-surrender because he's quite well-mannered.) First, we were able to get him the medical care he needed, and now he is a healthy, heartworm-free guy. Second, Oscar's a nice boy, and he deserves the attention and affection that's to come his way.
Oscar's in foster care now, and he's quickly gotten house- and crate-training under his belt, and is doing great. He's already a star at walking well on a leash! Oscar gets along with other dogs and is good around children. He however is not good with cats. Can you offer him the home he so richly deserves?
The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
