She is good with people, small to medium sized dogs, and should do great with kids. She is house trained and crate trained, though she isn't crated when her foster mom goes out. She rides well in the car and loves going on walks on a leash. She comes when called (most of the time) and knows how to use a doggy door too. Fancy is quiet except when she sees dogs outside in her yard and she is trying to protect her space, but even then she isn't a loud barker.
Fancy has tons of energy and loves to run so we are looking for a home with a fenced yard.
Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $250 adoption donation for adult dogs and $350 for puppies.
We are at the Kirkwood Petco on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10 am to 2 pm. Check our website for our schedule at www.senordogs4seniors.com. This store is located on Lindbergh just north of I-44. Turn left at the first major stoplight.

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
