Hi, I am Oso and I am looking for my new humans. My former humans surrendered me to the pound because they said I was aggressive with a young child. But, I am just a puppy myself, so I got scared in the situation and reacted! Shouldn’t my humans have handled that child and me differently? Because the humans exaggerated their explanation, I was labeled “rescue only” at the pound which blocked anyone from adopting me. I was there for a month, depressed, and was about to die when a kind woman asked Forte to help me. (I have heard of “angels,” so she might have been one of them!) That wonderful woman is now my foster and she has let me feel like my curious, happy and playful self again! I get to go on walks, hang out with new toys, and play fetch for hours! I love sitting on laps and snuggling with people while I give them lots of affection. My foster keeps telling me I am a sweet boy but honestly, I don’t understand why she thinks I taste like candy! I am learning my commands to follow directions better because I want to be well-behaved so that no one else gets rid of me again. I am excited that I have a second chance to finding a home with humans who adore me so I can adore them back. I cannot wait to find someone to play with me forever.
If you are interested in meeting Oso, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.
