Facts about Samantha

  • Breed: Maine Coon
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
Samantha is about 1 yr old and was rescued by a friend of one of our volunteers when someone called her to say that they found a mom and kittens outside their apt. building. . Right now, because she has her kittens, she is being protective of them, and a bit witchy. This coming week, her kittens and her will be being spayed/neutered. Once her kittens are all adopted, and once she is spayed, we think she will go back to being the sweet kitty neighbors told us she was. She just needs an understanding adopter that knows what she has been through, and is willing to give her some time to adjust.

The adoption fee for her is $85.00 which includes Spay/neuter and age appropriate vaccinations and testing for felv/fiv.

Prospective adopters will fill out a prescreening form. Once that is reviewed, the adoption can be done.
Each pet is priced according to what vetting we have to do.
If we get a dog that is already spayed/neutered,and we have to just vaccinate it, then the fee is $100.00. If we have to do all the vetting for a dog, the fee is $250.00 which includes spay/neuter, heartworm test, and necessary vaccines. Cats are typically $100.00 which includes spay/neuter, distemper and rabies. If we test for FELV/FIV, then that is an additional $50.00 charge.
