Raleigh's Info...

I am housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Raleigh's Story...
Raleigh's story started out very sad, and almost hopeless. Raleigh was picked up by a shelter after she was hit by a car and very badly injured. Neverending Stories Animal Rescue, Inc. stepped in just in time. Her life was saved, but due to the severity of her injuries Raleigh lost one of her hind legs, and is now a "tripod" dog. Having only three legs does not slow her down one bit, though! She's fast as can be, smart as a whip, and extremely happy to be alive and well. Raleigh does have some scarring as a result of her injuries, and it is likely that she will always have some hairless areas that will need to be protected from extended sun exposure. Raleigh is NOT good with cats, dogs or younger more energetic children. She would love to be the only pet in the house, and would prefer someone with a calm, quiet lifestyle. She is up to date on shots, house trained, and will be spayed prior to her adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raleigh, a Bear Jack Russell Terrier/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Pug for sale in Bear, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Pug dog from a breeder in Bear.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bear already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bear breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Pug breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bear paves the way for another one to be saved.
