GRACIE is a sweet, tri-colored border collie mix who is approximately five years old. GRACIE has a super soft, medium coat with gorgeous “feathers”. At 32 lbs., GRACIE is a lot of love and happiness in a smaller package. She’s a “Velcro” dog who loves to be close to her person and is always happy to snuggle. GRACIE is very eager to please and both treat and toy-motivated. She would love to spend time with her person learning agility, heel work to music or maybe even flyball after learning some more basic commands. At her foster home, she absolutely adores her on-leash morning runs. She t has learned the command “ignore” and will now run by less well-mannered dogs, paying no attention to them. GRACIE also really enjoys chasing a ball or toy. When inside the house, GRACIE stays close to her foster mom. When her foster mom leaves the house, GRACIE will lie near the front door and wait patiently for her foster mom to return.
GRACIE’s confidence has grown since she came into rescue, but she is a sensitive girl and can still be fearful initially of new places and new people. GRACIE isn’t a barker but she will sometimes bark when she’s really excited. Even though Gracie lives with another dog in her foster home, might prefer to be the only dog. She will chase cats, so she should be in a house without a cat. GRACIE is always ready to jump into the car to go traveling with her person. She is house broken, crate trained and settles and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. All in all, GRACIE is a super sweet and fun dog ready for her forever family.
GRACIE is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.
