Buddy's Story...
Meet Buddy - a 9 year old Blue Heeler/Queensland Heeler It is very sad that at this age Buddy finds himself needing a home. His owner passed away and had no family to take Buddy. Buddy has been living outside, but the person who has asked us to find him a home feels like he would be happy to give living indoors a try. If you have a comfortable, safe, weather protected place for him, he will probably be happy outdoors too since that may be all he has known. We'd love for someone to offer him a comfortable couch for him to spend the last years of his life on. Buddy would do best in a home without cats or young children.

If you would like to give Buddy a home, please visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download an application, or email jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application. Adoption fee is $150, which includes neuter, heart worm and parasite prevention, up-to-date vaccinations and microchip with lifetime registration. Thanks for choosing adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Gallatin Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
