Buddy is a sweet guy once he warms up to you!! He lost his elderly owner and ended up in AC very scared. He is wonderful with all the other dogs he meets, he enjoys playing but is unsure on how to cuddle, although he really does enjoy it if you give him time.
He's a fun little guy who had his world turned upside down with the unexpected death of his original owner. He is shy and stand-offish at first but once he let's you in he is a love bug sweetheart. He may 'taste' you first but then he will be your best friend.

Lucky K9 Rescue is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to restoring the dogs under our care to the best physical and emotional health as reasonably possible as they await placement in loving, responsible homes.
We pride ourselves in getting to know each and every dog in our care. When selecting forever home we strive to place the dogs into a family that meets the needs of both the prospective adopter as well as the adoptable pet. We often get multiple application on one dog and will select the best possible applicant for that particular pet.
All potential adopters or fosters are required to complete an application, provide vet/reference contact(s) and agree to a home visit. Completing an adoption application DOES NOT commit you to adopting any of our pets, nor does it guarantee approval for adoption for a particular pet.
If you are interested in adopting you will need to complete an adoption application prior to scheduling a meet & greet with the pet you are interested in! You can complete an adoption application at: http://www.luckyk9.org/adoption-application
If you are interested in fostering you can complete a foster application at: http://www.luckyk9.org/foster-application

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
