Chloe's owner contacted us about rehoming Chloe - she wrote: "Hello im looking for a rescue center to take my Rottweiler and care for her. Her name is Chloe and she is 12yrs old. She is an inside dog and is really lazy! Please if you could contact me about taking her I would greatly appreciate it." Of course we couldn't refuse to help Chloe find a loving retirement home. As you can see from her photos, she plans to be around for a very long time. And she smiles! Chloe is great with other dogs and loves children. She has never been around cats but her owner is going to take her to meet a cat so we can learn if she is cat safe. To adopt Chloe and fill your heart with the very special love only a senior can bring, please email email@example.com for an adoption application.
Rottweiler Rescue of Michigan, Inc., a 501 c 3 non-profit corporation, has been rescuing rottweilers for 50 years. Our wish is that every rottweiler have a loving and nurturing life-time home. Towards that end we are staunch supporters of spay and neuter until such time as no rottweiler will ever be exploited because they are so plentiful. All of our dogs are altered, on year-round heartworm prevention, microchipped, and have been treated for any and all pre-existing medical conditions including heartworm disease, orthopedic problems etc. We also offer a referral service to help owners place rottweilers they can no longer keep. We receive no government funding and depend entirely on contributions made by caring and generous animal lovers. All donations are fully tax-deductible and enable us to foster unwanted pets until we can find them new homes; provide medical care for sick and injured dogs; and subsidize low-cost spay and neuter surgeries so that we can continue to battle the overpopulation problem.
