Cola's Story...
Hi. I am Cola. My mom came to the rescue with all of my siblings. We went to Marcye who is our foster. It has been three years now and I did not find a home for some reason. I am an American Bulldog and Australian Shephard mix. I am full grown and fully vetted. I am spayed. I am shy when I first meet you and this is probably why I have not found a home yet. I went to training class with my foster mom. She is proud of me. I learned sit, come and to heel. She tells me that there is a home for me. Until then she says I can stay here. I am living with three four adults and a puppy. I am comfy and safe. I did learn that sofas are wonderful. Have one to share? I am an australian shepherd american bulldog mix.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cola, a Broken Arrow American Bulldog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Broken Arrow, or seeking a American Bulldog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Broken Arrow.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broken Arrow already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broken Arrow breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with American Bulldog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broken Arrow paves the way for another one to be saved.
