Butterscotch's Story...
If you were to ask me what a perfect home would be like, that would be easy. I am getting older and I know it. I am 6 going on 7 now. I am happy but as I get older it would be nice to have a home and a family. I would love a dog bed to curl up on during nap time. I am still young at heart so don’t write me off. I love to play fetch. My tennis balls and Kong toys are wonderful. When I am really happy I will run circles around the perimeter of the play areas just to express my joy and happiness. I finally got a foster home and it is wonderful. I am with two other dogs and it is great. I get snuggles on the sofa and we go for walks. I am not good w cats but hey what can I say. I am a full grown female bully breed. I am tan and white. I am potty trained. I am about 65 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butterscotch, a Broken Arrow Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Broken Arrow, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Broken Arrow.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broken Arrow already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broken Arrow breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broken Arrow paves the way for another one to be saved.
