zMaybelle -ADOPTED's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi!  My name is Maybelle.  I'm a small hound mix, probably Beagle or Bassett hound and Bluetick Coonhound.  I'm small, only about 30lbs and short.  I am settling in to my foster home and doing really well. I'm house-trained, though I do sometimes have accidents in my crate.  I am a bit shy and nervous still, but I warm up quickly.  I like to cuddle and get petted and I also love lying in the sun in the big bay window here! I get along well with  my two doggie foster-brothers and I'm also good with my kitty foster-brother. I'm a hound dog, so I do like to sing sometimes and I have a beautiful voice!!   I just recently weaned my puppies and I can't wait to find my forever family!! Could it be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

zMaybelle -ADOPTED, a Northville Beagle/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Coonhound for sale in Northville, or seeking a Beagle/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Northville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Coonhound breeders who help with Beagle/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northville paves the way for another one to be saved.
