McGhee's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

McGhee's Story...
McGhee is a male Catahoula mix. He and his sister, Cajun, came to us together and are a little over six months old. They weigh about 25 pounds so we feel they will be medium-sized at full adulthood. They are very playful and sweet, love people and are good with other dogs. Shy in the beginning but they warm up quickly. As puppies, they are into everything! They have had vaccinations, rabies, are spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please contact Michele Williams at HorseInc2@aol.com for an application.

All our dogs live in foster homes. Please contact the foster home email listed for more information and and an adoption application. Please note, our adoptions are not done on a "first come first serve" basis. We are looking for the best possible match for our dogs and reserve the right to select or refuse an application at our discretion. CAN is a 100% volunteer-based rescue and all our volunteers have jobs, families and dogs to take care of. Thank you for your patience and understanding if we don't get back to you immediately.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McGhee, a Ball Ground Anatolian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Ball Ground, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Ball Ground.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ball Ground already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ball Ground breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ball Ground paves the way for another one to be saved.
