Skye's Story...
Estimated to have been born in June of 2016, Skye is a sweet and happy little guy who is looking for a forever family who will teach him how to be a terrific adult dog. His mom is 20 lbs, so he will probably be about 12 to 14 lbs when fully grown. He has a very good temperament and deserves a wonderful home where he can become someone’s best friend. Please remember that puppies require attention and oversight until they learn the ropes, so it is necessary that an adopter have the time and the love to raise a puppy. If you are interested in meeting Skye, please send in your application found at and we will give you a call.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skye, a San Diego Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
