Meet Clyde!

You can tell he doesn't know what it's like to be treated kindly, but after talking to him a bit he started wagging his tail. He is BEYOND sweet!!

He has a ways to go before he can leave the vet due to the extend of his neck wounds. These wounds were caused by a significant amount of time with a belt around his neck. He also needs to put on a lot of weight. But, we will get there with the help of the  great team at Vergi 24/7!   Here is a video of a visit with Clyde

With the help of the vets, we are providing pictures and info on the extent of his injuries to the Harris County DA's office. Hopefully, we will see justice done for this sweet boy!

Any donations are welcomed! We estimate his bill will be between $1,500-2,500. Donations can be made at www.scoutshonor.org.  Clyde is doing better but still has a long way to go for it to heal. He's in good spirits though. We really need to get him into a foster home! Even if temporarily so he can heal and get a bunch of TLC. Contact us at info@scoutshonor.org if you can help!

About Scout's Honor Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Scout’s Honor Rescue is an all-breed, no-kill, Not-For-Profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization committed to bringing Courage, Character and Compassion to Houston’s homeless pet population and making a positive difference in the lives of these stray and abandoned animals and the Houston community as a whole. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to saving the life of a homeless animal.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.

Our Adoption Process...

SHR will require an application and home visit for the adoption of any of our animals. The customary adoption fee is $150 for dogs $85 for cats.
