Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pork Chop got his name because he is a huge ham. He is an extraordinary boy that is just an all around awesome dog. Pork Chop came in as a stray to a local animal control so his past is a mystery. We do know that he was such a good boy that animal control always used him to see if other dogs were dog friendly. When he was cat tested, the cat hissed and poor Pork Chop hit the floor and belly crawled out of the room. He really is a gentle giant. He is about 75 pounds of pure love and devotion. He gets along with dogs, big or small, and wants to be friends with all of them. Pork Chop adores kids and as you can see from his pictures he even loves babies. A dog like this is hard to find, so if you are interested in this boy please go to animalheartline.org and fill out the required application. Since Pork Chop was a stray, his breeds are our best guess and we estimate him at 1.5 years old. He does need some training, but has many great qualities and we think any family or person would be lucky to have him. He is playful and also a huge lover. If you have questions about Pork Chop, call Jen at 630-205-1701 or email animalheartline@hotmail.com.
We are a small group of caring volunteers and a home visit is a requirement of adoption, therefore local adoptions only please (within 50 miles of Naperville /Chicago).
