My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Layla is a tri-colored 6 year-old that was found abandoned in a subdivision in Cherokee County. She had recently had puppies. She was a scared, shy girl when we got her and she was missing her babies. She adopted two stuffed animals at her foster home and carried them around with her for the first week that she was there. She is healthy and recently spayed. She has a wonderfully sweet nature and is a quiet basset - gets along fine with kids and is curious about cats but doesn't bother them. Layla has really come out of her shell. She has recovered from a case of mastitis and a UTI. Now that she is healthy, she is a happy and playful girl! She loves belly rubs and palying with her three foster brothers. She 'calls' for her foster family when they leave and dances for them when they come back home. She would make a wonderful addition to any home.
