Name: Jill   Breed: Boston terrier mix

Approximately Age:  8 months

Approximately Weight:  20 lbs

Has lived with: dogs

Currently Living at: scary rural shelter

Hi there, my name is Jill and I'm an 8 month old, female, 20 pound, boston terrier mix looking for a home of my very own! Right now I'm at the shelter. Don't get my wrong, it's great here. But I would really like to have some space of my own. The shelter gets a little crowded and it's hard to get any attention because all the people are so busy taking care of us. I would really like some one-on-one time with a special person or people of my own.

I would love my own soft little bed with some fun toys and maybe some yummy treats. I think I would really like obedience school, I'm very smart and can learn things very quickly. I think I can be the best in the class in no time at all. I love to go for walks and maybe I would even like the dog park. I do love playing with other dogs. I don't know how I feel about kids or cats because I've never met any, but I'm willing to give it a try. What about you? Are you willing to give me a try? I'll pay you back in cuddles and kisses and make you very proud! I hope to meet you soon.

Like most shelter dogs, Jill may need a refresher on house training. She is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Kristen at kristenn@luckydoganimalrescue.org .

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
