Foster Care: Well hi there! My name is Khloee. I'm a large, 5-year-old, spayed female Pit Bull & Boxer mix with brown and white coloring and a cute pink nose. I am 70 pounds of love and joy. I’m housetrained and crate trained. I like toys, but I love people. I just want to follow you around all day. I'm excellent on leash, which I'm told people love and makes me very adoptable, and I’m really good at “sit” and “stay!' I'm good with other dogs but could use some time to warm up. I love treats and I'm very smart, so I bet you could teach me some neat tricks if you promise to give me some! I'm so big and bouncy that it would be great if my new owners had experience with dogs like me. Since I’m in foster care and not at the shelter, you can make arrangements to meet me by contacting Sam at firstname.lastname@example.org or 650-340-7022 x418. Ask for Khloee, ID# A808654.
Foster Update: Khloee is a wonderful family dog. If you’re looking for a buddy to hang out with you, she’s in! She loves to go for walks, ride in the car, and hang out at home – on a lap, when she can get one. Khloee has met a few of our dog friends, and does very well with them. She’s also been just fine left alone at home out in our living room, and sleeps well in her crate at night.
Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Our hours are weekdays from 11am-7pm and weekends from 11am-6pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650/340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor or 650/340-7022 x823 anytime to hear a recording of our available animals (updated each morning). Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
