found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Though HAZEL got her name because of her magnificent eyes, they are not even her best attribute. This girl has been a dream since day 1! Her foster family says she fit in seamlessly immediately. She is well behaved in the house and seemed to already be potty trained when she arrived. HAZEL is a year old and around 30 lbs. She is large enough to go on any adventure, but small enough for easy travel. She shares her foster home with 2 resident dogs (a young shepherd mix and a senior spitz) and a foster brother (a 4 year old American bulldog). She gets along with everyone! She has also visited doggy daycare and gotten an A+ report card. She doesn't live with any kitties, but we are confident she will be friendly with them. We are happy to introduce her to some cats if your family has feline family members.
HAZEL rides well in the car, minds her manners at the vet's office, and is sweet with everyone she meets. She is the ideal family pet! She has a beagle's kind nature, but she isn't vocal like they sometimes can be. HAZEL enjoys playtime, but over all is a mild mannered laid back sort of girl. She is happy in pretty much any situation. She can cuddle for ages and is content just hanging out with her humans and/or her doggy friends. She would also be a wonderful companion for hiking, camping, or anywhere you would like to go. HAZEL's forever family will be overjoyed with this sweet girl in their home!
HAZEL is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to New England.
An adoption application for HAZEL can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to firstname.lastname@example.org. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed.
All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
