Ryder's Story...

Ryder is a 3 year old brindle Dane, neutered, heart worm negative and current on vaccines. He is on the thin side and we are putting some weight on him. Ryder is a bit shy and nervous at first. It takes him a little bit of time before he feels comfortable in a new home but he is a very sweet boy. He is starting to play with toys and loves to play with the foster family 2 year old female Mastiff. Ryder looks, and runs, like an adorable baby deer with his long, gangly legs. He walks well on leash after being excited at the prospect of going on the walk and travels well in the car. Ryder likes to have plenty dog beds to sprawl on and a special space where he can go lay down when he wants some quiet time.

Ryder is looking for a caring and compassionate home that will help continue to build his confidence and understand he is most comfortable in his familiar environment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ryder, a Bradenton Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Bradenton, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Bradenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bradenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bradenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bradenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
