Charlie needs a new home. he needs a fenced yard where he can run and play.He has a sad story. His person rescued him on his day to die. she was appalled at the condition of the shelter and the poor dogs in there especially Charlie who was emaciated and shaking with fear. Says It was the most disgusting place I ever walked into and wish I could have adopted them all.
He is 2 yrs old and 45 lbs now. Charlie has been neutered and all vaccines. he becomes protective of his person so best without kids. He would be great for a runner so he can use his energy . He needs you to be in charge so he feels safe.

she writes ___He is loyal, mild mannered, he does not pull when walked, he rarely even barks. He needs a family with no children, a large fenced in yard or a very active owner, a family that does not have a cat or a dog. He gets along with my other dog but he is afraid of every other dog he comes across. we don't know what this boy has been through so looking for the best home where he will be loved.

this is a courtesy post
email for an application - We do a trial foster so you can be sure.

About Road Home Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small group who try to save dogs off death row in the south. We pull them mostly from Ga, SC, and NC. Some are from Tn and KY or wherever we can help them.
So many dogs are killed in gas chambers in the South and we have to do whatever we can to help these poor animals who by no fault of their own are homeless. We are all volunteers and always need foster homes for any time you have available and donations to help pay our vetting bills. Heartworm treatment can be very expensive . We are so appreciative of any help and so are the pups.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We set up a meeting for you to meet the dog at our home where the dog is most comfortable and in his natural surroundings. . We have fosters in Cary, Morrisville and Charlotte. They are wonderful people who help save these lives.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an application to be filled out and upon approval within 2 days we have you meet the dog. Then we arrange a foster/trial adoption week. We also like to schedule a home visit before the final contracts . Our adoption fee ranges from a low $125-to a high of $350 . Most average $225 to cover the cost of our vetting.
