My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Admiral is very lucky to still be alive. After his previous owner was arrested Admiral Slithers found himself at a county shelter. He came to the shelter thin, sickly & full of scars. Unfortunately the shelter he found himself had very little knowledge about snakes. He was then placed in a tank with another kingsnake~ Which is very dangerous as King Snake eat other snakes! Thankfully, even though Admiral was weak and sickly he was bigger then the other snake so he did not get eaten. But it doesn't end there: because Admiral is a California Kingsnake, the shelter assumed he was wild! Not True! They had planed to release him into the wild where he would surly die! Thankfully after speaking to a few animal control officers who, while were not educated on reptiles, were willing to learn they released Admiral into our care. Admiral is now on his way to recovery. Admiral is at a healthier weight & eating well he is now available for adoption..
