Petunia is about 6 years old we think and we would prefer her to go to a home that is quite and relaxed . She is a very loveable sweet dog but since she is older she doesnt like to be picked up by her front legs only by her side so I would suggest no small kids in the home on a daily basis that would try and do that. She is fine with all my grandkids but they dont try and pick her up. She loves her belly rubbed and I give her a back massage every day and she loves it. She comes outside when called and knows what do u want a treat is lol. She guards her food from other dogs and will react with other dogs if they try and take her food by growling at them but she is never the one to bit them unless they bite her 1st. She needs a chance with a person who can give her a new life cause I adore this girl and she adores people as well you just have to understand her. She is never aggressive toward strangers or my volunteers she just love attention. Adoption Fee $150
We are a Non Profit rescue in Indiana. We rescue animals from all over the United States and have them brought to us here in Indiana where we work with them, Love them and make sure they are healthy. We mainly rescue dogs that are in High Kill shelters. We Love all animals and dont feel that they get the chances that they should and we do this because its just the right thing to do. We rely on Donations, Fosters and Volunteers to keep us going.

Our Adoption Process...
We do ask for a adoption fee per pet to help with the cost of all the vetting we do. The process begins with a adoption application then a Home visit then the Meet & Greet with the animal We do not adopt to people who are going to leave the dog outside to live.. All our pets must live inside the home with the family. We do require a fenced in yard for all German Shepherds & Huskies.
