Roxy Marie Flynn's Story...
The Flynn Family Saved My Life!
Roxy Marie was born about November 18, 2011 and may weigh about 20 lbs. She is wonderful with all humans, including children and she is fine with other dogs, but would also be fine living alone. The one thing in the world that she ADORES is her humans! She truly would like to be with you most of the time and she is the best snuggler! Marie does have too much interest in cats to live with any. She is here due to separation anxiety and both her former parents worked full time. She seldom barks, only at passing dogs, but squeals with delight when you come home to her. Roxy Marie loves peanut butter and squeaky toys and needs the really durable ones. She does hold up one hind leg when running, but it doesn't slow her down a bit. They said they took her to the vet and the vet didn't advise any treatment, we are assuming it is a slight luxating patella as so many dogs have them. Roxy Marie simply cannot be crated or even closed in a room. She is going to be the love of someone's life that is home most of the time or can take her with them. Her world is going to center around you! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $150.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
