Facts about Amy
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Color: White (Mostly)
not good with cats.
I am not good with cats.
Amy was brought to our rescue with her siblings as a 10 week old kitten. She is super affectionate and wants to be good, but is very afraid of other cats. She gets along fine with her brother and sister, Prince and Aretha, but can't be housed with the other felines. She would do best in a home without other cats--unless you adopted her brother or sister too. There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a mandatory $50 deposit is required. It can be returned upon veterinary proof of spay when she is older. Come and meet our kittens!
Friends of Plumas County Animals is a non profit 501(c)3 organization We are dedicated to improving the lives of the impounded animals in the local shelter and to reducing the number of unwanted/homeless animals through spay and neuter programs. When we volunteered at the local county shelter we built outdoor enclosures and play yards for the dogs and cats. Currently, Friends takes animals into our own rescue site where we spay and neuter, give first vaccinations and then re-home the animals. When we have the available monies we also help those in need of financial assistance spay and neuter their personal pets. Our adoptable animals are offered with no adoption fee to approved homes, and we survive on the generous donations of our adopters and supporters. We are currently creating a "home of our own" in which to house adoptable animals-- offering a home to sick, elderly, young and special needs animals with the goal of improving their chances of finding a new home.
