LIBBY MUST GO TO A HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED BACK YARD. ADOPTERS WITH SMALLER CHILDREN WILL NOT BE APPROVED FOR THIS DOG DUE TO HER ENERGY AND PLAY STYLE.  Older children are fine.

Libby is a nearly year old female Min Pin that was surrendered to True Heart on July 26th. 2016.  Libby is highly human attached, but gets along well with other dogs. She is very playful and her favorite thing to do is play ball in yard with her foster mom.  Libby doesn't really have reaction to cats.  Other than her energetic jumping, which her foster mom is working on, she even loves children of all ages -- she's been tested with a 14mth old and a 7 yr old and is very sweet and affectionate.

Libby is VERY intelligent -- she is potty trained and catches on quickly to training.  Libby is crate trained, but prefers to sleep in bed, nestled tightly up against her human.

Libbys ideal owner would an experienced Minature Pinscher owner and someone who could spend a lot of time with her. She wants nothing more than to be with her human.  If you can't be with her all the time, Libby would do well in a home with one or two other dogs of similar energy level -- she wants and needs someone to play with while her human is gone.  She does love playing with her foster siblings and will do best with other dogs that like to play.  Older pets may not like her energy level.  She will settle down next to you when you sit down to watch tv or look at your computer.  She loves to snuggle.  If you would like to learn more about Libby or arrange a meeting, you can contact her foster parent at grinsdiecast@sbcblogal.net.

About True Heart Pinsher Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

True Heart Pinscher Rescue was founded in 2006 in Kentucky. Our volunteers are the life-force of our organization. We do not have a shelter, so all of our available dogs are fostered in a volunteer home.

Since 2006 we have branched out to many new states, and have included all of the Pinscher Breeds (Doberman, German and Miniature) as part of our rescue. We will, on occasion, take in dogs outside of these breeds based on open foster homes, and the immediate needs of the dogs.

If you are interested in learning more about True Heart Pinscher Rescue, or would like to provide support, or become a volunteer, please visit our website at http;//www.trueheartrescue.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently we do not have a shelter location where you can visit our pets. We do, however, participate in many local animal events, and will have foster dogs on-site. Please visit http://www.trueheartrescue.org/events to see a list of upcoming events that may be in your area.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, and would like to meet them in person, please visit the website to fill out an adoption application. Applications are required to be on-file prior to meeting a specific dog outside of a public event.

Our Adoption Process...

All interested adopters must fill out an adoption application, located on our website http://www.trueheartrescue.com. This application will be reviewed by our volunteer staff and then all data will be passed to our board for a final ruling. During the application process you may be contacted by a True Heart Volunteer to get more information, or provide clarification on an issue.

Because we are a volunteer organization, application processing times may vary based on the number of open applications, and available parties to process them.

A home visit is required for all dog adoptions. If a home visit cannot be completed, the adoption will not be allowed.

If you are a senior, and qualify for the adoption of one of our senior foster dogs, adoption fees may be reduced or waived as part of our Silver Hearts for Seniors program. Other adoption fees are assigned based on the dog age, and fees associated with the rescue of the dog. Adoption fees are listed on our website on the listing for each dog.
