My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Olive is a beautiful 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix. Her owner needs to find a new home for her because Olive and her 3 year old border collie do not get along and must be kept in separate areas of the house Olive has worked with a trainer and knows tricks and commands. She is very energetic and loves to fetch soccer balls and run around at top speed around the yard. However at night, she loves to settle down and cuddle up next to someone. She loves long walks and learning new tricks. Olive's owner says she needs a fenced yard because she has a lot of energy that needs running off.

Olive is nervous around dogs that she does not know; and wants to guard and be the alpha dog in the house, so a home without other dogs would be the best fit for her. She has never been exposed to cats. Olive is wonderful with the grandchildren ages 11 and 7; they are used to her jumping and licking when they come in.

Olive weighs about 37 pounds. She is completely house trained and sleeps all night in her crate. She is already spayed and microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She just needs a new and active family to love.
