Marty McFly's Story...
Marty McFly is an energetic and fun, two-year-old, male Chihuahua looking for a loving guardian.

Marty is a shelter favorite. He is goofy, playful and a rough player with other dogs. He loves a rough and tumble doggie playmate.

Marty was given up by his former family to Chicago Animal Care and Control when they could no longer care for him.

He’s opinionated at times, so he’s recommended for dog-experienced families without small children.

Marty McFly is very healthy and up-to-date on vaccines. He will be neutered and micro-chipped upon adoption. His adoption fee of $250 benefits Famous Fido’s Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Marty, please fill in the adoption application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305.

Marty McFly is currently at the Famous Fido Rescue Headquarters at 3124 W. Irving Park Road (at Troy Street) in Chicago. Please call Gloria at 773-907-0305 to make an appointment to meet him and all the other wonderful dogs and cats at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marty McFly, a Chicago Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
