My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake and his sister Joni were dumped near a river in TN. They were thin, scared and covered in ticks. But all the neighborhood people came together to feed them, love them and get them to rescue. They have now been fully vetted and are living inside a foster home with other dogs and cats learning what its like to be part of a family. They are very happy and excited to be loved on and are so grateful. When they are in my lap getting their loving they can be a little jealous if another dog comes up to get some love. I think that is fairly normal for dogs that have been deprived of affection most of their lives. Other than that they are sweet goofy puppies and they are looking for a family ready for lots of fun. Jake also got a Proheart 6 injection so he is covered on heartworm prevention until Feb 2017.
This pup has received at least 2 sets of Distemper/Parvo vaccines, 1 Bordetella vaccine. It has been wormed at least twice and has been spayed/neutered. It is currently on Flea/tick prevention and Heartworm prevention. If the pup is over 6 months of age it has also been tested for Heartworms. If the pup tested positive for heartworms, we treat them before they leave for their forever homes. Please email Jennifer at jenniferjmcbride@aol.com for an adoption application or if you have questions about this pup. This pup’s adoption fee is $350 which covers all the vetting mentioned above plus the extra vet visit and Interstate Health Certificate required for the pup to travel and the transport fee charged by the transport company that will transport this adopted pup from the South to his/her forever home in the North. We use a few different transport companies to help accommodate our adopters.
