Lulu is fostered in Long Beach CA 90804, through United Yorkie Rescue. http://unitedyorkierescue.org To find out more about Lulu, contact her foster mamma through the question/inquiry link.
Lulu is a 10 year old, 12lb. Poodle girl who came to United Yorkie Rescue in September 2016.
Lulu is spayed and up to date on her shots and vetting.
Lulu has lived her life with fur brother Toto, also posted with Underdog Rescue, with the same foster, from the time they were small through the day they were brought to the shelter together, both very sick. Lulu's brother Toto is a Yorkie and was picked up the day prior to Lulu so foster mamma could get Toto settled and make arrangements to bring Lulu home. Lulu needed quarantine from Toto due to her health. It's hard to image how both these sweet pups must have felt surviving a night alone, after years together. They both seemed super happy to be reunited, although from afar while Lulu is quarantined.
The extent of Lulu's ailments are not yet known, we'll find out over the weeks to come. She has so far been seen for a dental and had several teeth removed, which seems to be a large part of her not feeling well, as she's now eating much better and her skin is also doing better with medicated shampoo baths.
It would be so wonderful if they could remain together in their forever home, however the need for this is yet to be determined. A picture of Toto has been included.
Please check back on Lulu, or if you're heart has already gone out to this adorable pair, to find out more about Lulu and her needs (and her fur brother Toto who is also looking for his forever home), contact her foster mamma through the question/inquiry link.
