General Patton's Story...
Down under 180 pounds from a high of 203 pounds this handsome guy wants to be your foot warmer. He doesn't need your lap every time you sit down, just wants to be in bed with you, and now that cooler weather is upon us, what better foot warmer could you have? He likes all dogs, needs people who understand he likes to hold hands sometimes by mouthing their hand…but never bites. He enjoys vocalizing news to the neighborhood to keep everyone aware of changes such as a siren, or small dog wandering around the neighborhood barking, and you'll never need a door bell with General Patton around. He knows before they ring when someone stops by.
He’s perfect for owners who are familiar with Bloodhounds and Mastiffs as he's a mix of both breeds. He's tall enough to imposing yet sweet enough to let into your bed for cuddles.
He is heartworm free, neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. If General Patton is the dog for you, just fill out an adoption application at www.schoolofwags.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

General Patton, a Killeen Bloodhound/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound/Mastiff for sale in Killeen, or seeking a Bloodhound/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Killeen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Killeen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Killeen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound/Mastiff breeders who help with Bloodhound/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Killeen paves the way for another one to be saved.
