Oakley's Story...
4 year old Oakley needs her forever family!!! She is a big love, with a big personality! She may be too much for most other dogs as she is dominant; small dogs, cats or other small animals are not a good idea. While dominant, she is not aggressive, but will show canine playmates who's boss. She gets so excited with other dogs, she has a hard time controlling herself, and there's a lot of self! No small children for this girl. She sits for every meal, she is getting very good at stay and she is crate trained, though she's able to be left out free in the house without any issues. She loves her walks, loves playing inside with you, is very sweet, well-mannered and housebroken. If you want a dog that cuddles, Oakley is that dog! She's wonderful!! Contact for an application is Beth at kaya1227@comcast.net. Oakley is in RUTLAND, VT

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oakley, a Frederick Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
