Ayers's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Ayers's Story...
Ayers was picked up on Moon Band Rd on 7/6/16. He is a 12 year old Lab/Bulldog mix the owners could no longer care for and never came back for him after they moved. He is super sweet and loving to people, and can get along with some other dogs, but he is very picky whom he likes. We call him the 'old man' of the shelter. He is heartworm negative. He appears to be housebroken as his kennel is always clean. He has been fully vetted now, his ears have been treated, and he is on monthly flea and tick and heartworm preventative.

They are available at 7am on the day they are available and must be picked up and paid for at that date/time. An adopter or rescue cannot call and hold a dog to be picked up at a later date. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ayers, a Lewisburg Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog for sale in Lewisburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Lewisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
