Renee's Story...
Miss Renee is a darling young calico. She is about 1 year old and quite petite. She came to her foster a bit dehydrated and developed some tummy issues. (She also had a hernia repair along with her spay.) She will need to be monitored regarding her food intake as she is a bit finicky! She is sweet and playing well with my 6 week old foster kitten and seems to be OK with dogs and cats. (But because she was ill her foster has not let her have too much 1on 1 interaction with them.) If you are interested in meeting or adopting Renee, please contact her foster, Jasmine at 734-625-4557.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Renee, a Toledo Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
