Eastwood (Woody) - Rhode Island's Story...
Located in Rhode Island

This amazing little survivor has quite a story to tell. You can read more about it and see photos from the day we met him here:

Four/Five year old Eastwood was found the day he was thrown from a car down an embankment in a cardboard box. Too weak to move, Eastwood's namesake climbed down and carried him to safety.

Eastwood is covered in scars, now the only memories from his painful past. He is living at the RISPCA and several HDR volunteers are caring for Eastwood as we help him acclimate to life as a pet. He is taking day trips, going for walks, and is settling in nicely into his foster home. In the home, Eastwood has been wonderful. He is quiet in the crate, housebroken, and extra affectionate.

Eastwood is not good with cats, but appears to be friendly with other dogs. He has gone on walks with other dogs and being in their presence gives him confidence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eastwood (Woody) - Rhode Island, a Fulton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fulton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fulton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fulton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fulton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fulton paves the way for another one to be saved.
