Bella's Story...
Hi! I’m Bella. I am a Basset/Beagle girl and I’m 5 years old. Someone left me with my person a couple of years ago just to watch me for a little bit, but never came back to get me. My person was so kind to keep me for all of this time, but has a disabled child in the house and it’s just too much for her. I am a little excited over food and she was concerned about that with the child. But I am a good girl. You just might not want to leave that ham sandwich too close to the edge of a short table! But I know you can work with me on that and I promise to work hard on it. I am a super sweet girl…please open your home and your heart for me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Urbana Basset Hound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Urbana, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Urbana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Urbana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Urbana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Urbana paves the way for another one to be saved.
