Chula's Story...
Chula can really be the life of the party-and by that we mean, she's got the energy to keep you entertained for hours! She's a 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a gentle heart. She responds lovingly to sweet talk and positive reinforcement. She's treat motivated and can "sit" on command.Like any "Pitty" mix, Chula has the strength and energy to keep you on your toes, so don't be surprised if she decides to lead the way. Because of her high energy level, we believe she may do better in a home without children under the age of 12. You may have noticed freckles dotting this lovely girl. While they're quite adorable, Chula's thin coat and sensitive skin means she may be prone to sunburn. So don't forget to cover her up or keep her indoors! Come down to the San Antonio Humane Society and pay this sweet girl some well-deserved attention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chula, a San Antonio American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
