Yuki is the Japanese word for snow... very fitting for this little Shiba girl!
Yuki spent her first 6 years as a breeder dog in a puppy mill. She is very shy and will need a patient foster that will work with her on socialization. These dogs often have never been in a home environment and will need to learn how to be "a dog and companion". They will need work on leash training and housetraining.
Currently Yuki will only eat at night at the shelter. She will need a safe zone in her foster home until she adjusts.
A home with a fenced yard and another dog is highly recommended for Yuki.
