Here's what the humans have to say about me:
t was a wet, rainy day when I, a poor emaciated mommy, and my 5 malnourished puppies came into New Hope's foster care. Probably why my name is Aqua, Aqua and the H2O litter. But oh, how I love it here in foster care. From day one, I could see I was safe and have always wanted to show how much I like it here to my new foster parents. I wanted them to know I am a truly loving and loyal German Shepherd. I am keeping it a secret, but my foster parents think I am between 2 and 3 years old.
I love spending time with my foster parents, playing fetch, and keep away sometimes hee hee. But I have been learning so many new things. Oh my goodness, treats!!! They are the best thing ever. I've learned so much using these. I know sit, I enjoy my thing called a crate, but usually only at nap time as being a German Shepherd, I have lots of energy.
And my foster siblings, they are so much fun. We chase each other around, and play all the time. But there is that little Jack Russel. I am not too sure about him, I would probably like it better if my forever home did not have small dogs.
Oh, and this weird thing my foster parents call a cat. Man is that ever weird, it looks kind of like a dog, but it definitely isn't. It just isn't right and it confuses me. Probably be best if my forever home didn't have these too.
But when there is down time, I love my head scratches and cuddles with my foster parents. My puppies are all off on their own adventures, and I would like to continue mine. Is there a forever home for me? Is it yours? I'd sure like to meet you. Why don't you fill out a form at www.newhoperescue.org, and we'll see where it takes us?
