Minnie's Story...
Meet Minnie! Minnie was a bottle baby rescued from the local shelter. She was the runt of the litter and continues to be a petite little lady. Because she got round the clock care Minnie was doted on with an exorbitant amount of attention. She loves her humans and gets along well with the resident cats and dogs in her foster home. She loves to play with any and all toys, but when it comes right down to it her foster Momma described her as a "snuggle bunny." Adopt Minnie today!

My adoption fee is $85.00.

You can come visit me at our adoption events every Friday and Saturday from 1-7 pm at Petsmart at 3900 Sisk Rd, Modesto, CA 95356. To view our adoption procedures and to fill out an adoption application for me please visit our website at http://www.humanestanislaus.care/adoption. Once your adoption application has been approved we will set up a time to meet at Petsmart to finalize my adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Modesto Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Modesto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Modesto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Modesto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Modesto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Modesto paves the way for another one to be saved.
