Tali is an American Bulldog mix female, about 5 years old, up to date on shots and spayed. She has spent a lot of time in a kennel and needs to be shown the ropes and some love. She loves to play ball! She is dog particular – a meet and greet with dogs would be required. Nobody has given Tali enough time and attention to teach her that life is fun! But since we’ve been working with her, she’s starting to learn. If you’d like to be the special someone that shows Tali there is a whole new world ahead of her. Tali’s future is waiting for you! About Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist (HOPE)

About Our Rescue Group...

HOPE is an all volunteer organization. We mainly rescue dogs and cats from local Animal Shelters/Control when those facilities are overcrowded. We do not have a shelter. Our adoptable cats and dogs are in individual foster homes. We are always looking for more foster homes for cats and kittens.
We have educational programs for children and adults about choosing a pet and the responsibilities of pet ownership, and safety around animals.
We welcome volunteers for any of these programs or for our fundraising committee.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You can always see our pets on our website To meet a specific pet, you can call to set up an appointment with the pet's foster home. We also regularly have adoption clinics at various locations throughout Saratoga County. These are listed on our website,, or you may call us at (518) 428-2994.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application to be submitted. We will call your landlord, if applicable, and your veterinarian. We will visit your home prior to placing a pet with you to ensure as perfect a match as we can. Applying for a pet does not guarantee adoption. Our adoption fee is $100 for cats and $195 for dogs. We have a Senior to Senior adoption program - all pets 7 years of age up may be placed free of charge to a qualified senior citizen (age 65 and older).
All HOPE animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. All HOPE animals are tested for heartworm, Lymes, feline leukemia, etc. and have been vaccinated as appropriate for the pet's age and species.
