Colette's Story...
Meet Colette! What a lovely lady! “Mama C” was found roaming an alley by a restaurant with her 2 kittens. Luck has been on her side and she has learned to love and trust again. Colette has a very mild and laid back personality. She purrs the second she sees her foster mama. Colette has been a very good mother to her sons, Pierre and Percy. She now deserves to be spoiled as she has cared so diligently for her boys. She will continue to blossom has she finds the love of a permanent home.

Mama C does well with kittens from other sibling groups. She will love a lap to sit on and watch TV or read a book. No more left over restaurant food for her!

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colette, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
